This research presents the use of the electromagnetic induction by the EM-38 to measure the soil salinity. The EM-38 device is used to measure soil salinity in the three pilot areas at South El- Husseinia. A number of readings were taken in the three pilot areas. Samples were collected and sent to the laboratory for the salinity measurement. The ECsube values were done on saturated soil paste extracts. Different correlations were developed between the laboratory data and EM38 readings. Four models were tested and the correlation between lab soil salinity and the EM38 readings was presented.
